Delhi's Python community, since 2011.
PyDelhi is a volunteer group of students, professionals, teachers and founders who all like Python. We meet once a month, it's free, and everyone is welcome.
Fifteen years of Saturdays.
From a handful of developers in a room to conferences, sprints and a meetup almost every month.

Now
Meetups every month
We still meet almost every month, and the next meetup is never far away. See what's next.

More than a monthly meetup.
Besides the regular Saturday, these are the kinds of event we run.
- Talk meetups
The regular Saturday: talks, lightning talks and conversation over chai.
- Workshops
Hands-on sessions where you code along, at meetups and at colleges.
- Birds of a Feather
Small circles around one topic, where everyone gets a turn.
- Hiring and pitching
Near the end of a meetup: say who you're hiring or what you're building.
- Dev sprints
A day of open source, with mentors beside first-time contributors.
- Collaborative meetups
Joint events with other communities in the city, like our mega meetups.
- Conferences
PyDelhi Conf, and a hand in bringing PyCon India to Delhi.
How we run the room.
Free, always
No tickets, no fees. Venues, food and chai come from sponsors, and everything else from volunteers.
Beginners welcome
Most of the room is new to Python or to speaking. Ask the question. Give the lightning talk. That's what it's for.
Everyone is safe
Our Code of Conduct applies at every meetup and in every chat, and we enforce it.
Run by volunteers
Nobody is paid. People who came to one meetup now run them, and you could too.
Run the next one with us.
Every meetup is run by volunteers: finding venues, reviewing talks, running the room on the day and writing the recap. Most of us started by helping out once.
